It’s that time of year again when people submit their choices for WODA nominees. We’re encouraging people to get their nominations for the 2023 Women of Distinction Awards in before August 4. It only takes a couple minutes of your time to change a woman business owner’s life by nominating her for one of the many awards, including Rising Star, Glass Ceiling, and Entrepreneur of the Year.
We’re excited to be celebrating our 25th year in bestowing these awards and grants to recognize the accomplishments of local women in private businesses and public sector nonprofit organizations.
The WODA Awards Spotlight The Region’s Women Leaders
NAWBO was established in 1975 with a mission to become the voice of women business owners. Our annual WODA award ceremony recognizes a diverse group of Southern Nevada businesses, owners, and leaders. Each category has three nominees who are chosen by their peers as women who make a difference both personally and professionally and who inspire excellence in others.

How to Nominate
All awards and grants can be self-nominated, and businesses can be nominated in multiple categories. However, individuals and companies may only receive one grant award.
Nominations are now open and will close on August 4, 2023. Finalists will be announced at the 2023 Women of Distinction Awards on October 24th and receive a free ticket to the event.
