Being a part of a network of women-owned businesses has never been more valuable than now. Women and minority-owned businesses represented more than 40% of the companies opened during and since the pandemic. A valuable lesson I have learned in recent years is having the support of other women leaders can make a significant difference in one’s entrepreneurial journey. For me, NAWBO of Southern Nevada has proven to be a powerful network of other women. They have been crucial in motivating me to push forward, connecting with me and identifying with my struggles, and, more than anything, providing me with perspective and timely advice when I needed it most.
Our chapter noticed a meaningful benefit members receive from their annual membership is a direct connection to other women business owners and the ability to showcase their business to others.
We took this to heart and created an online Membership Directory to highlight our members and their organizations for both other members and our community at large. This directory showcases who our members are and how to connect with them. It also lets you get to know them by sharing a few personal things they have shared with us.
Over the next few months, we will feature each of these members on our Facebook and LinkedIn pages. We look forward to hearing about the connections and businesses supported through this highlight of our NAWBO SNV membership at our upcoming events.
If you are a NAWBO SNV Member and would like us to add you to the directory, please click here to complete the easy 2-step submission process.
